(Austin, TX.) — The Central Health Board of Managers will hold a public hearing at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 7 so that community members may provide comments and ideas for the upcoming Central Health Performance Review.
The hearing will be held at Central Health, at 1111 E. Cesar Chavez St., in Austin.
The Central Health Board of Managers is planning to hire an independent consultant to lead a performance review related to the fulfillment of its mission: By caring for those who need it most, Central Health improves the health of our community. The consultant will review Central Health’s processes and functions regarding planning and budgeting, presentation of financial information, and organizational governance.
“Central Health is dedicated to providing access to care for those who need it most and improving the health of our community,” said Central Health Board of Managers Chairperson Katrina Daniel. “Public input is vital to the overall success of the performance review, which will help guide the essential work Central Health performs.”

La audiencia pública ofrecerá a la oportunidad para la comunidad de proporcionar comentarios sobre el proceso de conducir una auditoria de Central Health y sus desempeños.
La Junta Directiva de Central Health contratará a un consultor independiente para dirigir una revisión de desempeño relacionada con el cumplimiento de la misión de Central Health.
