F.D.A. Imposes Rules for E-Cigarettes in a Landmark Move

The federal government made a final ruling this past Thursday on the future of the e-cigarette industry. The Food and Drug Administration issued new rules intended to regulate e-cigs, vape liquids, and bansale to anyone under 18, requiring that adults under the age of 26 show a photo ID for purchase.

Texas health officials relieved as state gets Medicaid extension

Texas healthcare providers recently learned that the $29 billion federal Medicaid program that helps them pay for the needy will see a 15-month extension. This Medicaid waiver has provided hundreds of millions in healthcare services to underserved Travis County residents, and also has funded DSRIP projects aimed at finding better ways to deliver care.
