• Central Health partners with CommUnityCare to administer pharmacy benefits for the MAP and MAP BASIC programs using Script Care, Ltd. – Pharmacy Benefit Manager.

• Medical Access Program (MAP)
  • MAP members can have prescriptions written by any prescriber.
  • CommUnityCare: Prescriptions written by CommUnityCare clinicians must be filled at a CommUnityCare in-house or network pharmacy.
  • Lone Star Circle of Care: Prescriptions written by Lone Star Circle of Care clinicians must be filled at a Lone Star Circle of Care or an eligible Walgreens pharmacy.
  • People’s Community Clinic: Members are strongly encouraged to fill their prescriptions at the pharmacies listed in the attached document below.
  • Other prescribers: Members are strongly encouraged to fill their prescriptions at the pharmacies listed in the attached document below.
    • If prescriber also affiliated with CommUnityCare, prescriptions must be filled at a CommUnityCare network pharmacy.
• MAP BASIC
  • MAP BASIC does not cover prescriptions written by ineligible prescribers or filled at ineligible pharmacies.
    • MAP BASIC members may choose to fill ineligible prescriptions as self-pay.
  • Prescriptions written by:
    • CommUnityCare: Prescriptions written by CommUnityCare clinicians must be filled at a CommUnityCare in-house or network pharmacy.
    • Lone Star Circle of Care: Prescriptions written by Lone Star Circle of Care clinicians must be filled at a Lone Star Circle of Care or an eligible Walgreens pharmacy.
    • People’s Community Clinic: Prescriptions written by People’s Community Clinic clinicians must be filled at the pharmacies listed in the attached document below.
    • Integral Care: Prescriptions written by Integral Care clinicians must be filled at the Integral Care pharmacy or at the pharmacies listed in the attached document below.
    • UT Health Austin: Only Musculoskeletal and Women’s Health prescribers are eligible. Prescriptions must be filled at the pharmacies listed in the attached document below.
    • LoneStar Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS): Prescriptions written by LoneStar OMS dental providers must be filled at the pharmacies listed in the attached document below.
    • DDS Dentures + Implants: Prescriptions written by eligible DDS Dentures + Implants dental providers must be filled at the pharmacies listed in the attached document below.
• MAP BASIC Dental-only
  • MAP BASIC Dental-only is limited to dental prescriptions.
  • MAP BASIC Dental-only does not cover prescriptions written by ineligible prescribers or filled at ineligible pharmacies.
    • MAP BASIC Dental-only members may choose to fill ineligible prescriptions as self-pay.
