Central Health Northeast Health Resource Center
As part of a long-term strategy to bring health care services and resources to Northeast Travis County, Central Health and partners are offering health and wellness services on the east corner of the Barbara Jordan Elementary School campus and Volma Overton Elementary School.
These services are a direct result of a collaborative effort among residents of Northeast Travis County, Central Health, and CommUnityCare.

Looking ahead to 2026: Health and Wellness Center in Northeast
Working with the City of Austin and the community as part of the Colony Park Sustainable Community effort, Central Health will build a new health and wellness center that will expand current services and programs in northeast Austin, possibly including:
- Primary care, dental care, laboratory, and pharmacy
- Continued help to sign up for WIC, SNAP, and MAP
- Community fitness classes, cooking demos, and community meeting spaces
