Community Invited to Meet Finalists for Central Health President and CEO

March 28, 2017

The community is invited to meet the two finalists for the position of Central Health President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

On Monday, April 3, and Thursday, April 6 from 4:30 – 6 p.m., Central Health is hosting “Meet the Candidates” sessions. The meetings are open to the public and will be held in the Central Health board room at 1111 E. Cesar Chavez St.  With the help of executive recruitment firm B.E. Smith, the Central Health Board of Managers has narrowed the pool of candidates to two: Valetta Abdellatif and Mike Geeslin. Central Health began its search for a new leader when Patricia Young Brown retired Dec. 31, 2016.

In advance of the “Meet the Candidates” sessions, community members are invited to submit a question. During the meeting, a moderator will ask the candidate previously submitted questions – as many as time allows. You may submit a question via email to centralhealthceo@gmail.com before noon on Friday, March 31, 2017.
